Angela Barney-Nez, Special Assistant to the President, Navajo Nation Office of the President and Vice President. Mrs. Barney-Nez is a U.S. Army veteran.


Margaret Baha-Walker, Vice-Chairwoman, White Mountain Apache Nation. Chairwoman Baha-Walker first addressed the Congresswomen and the audience in her native Apache language before sharing the struggles the Apache veterans have in acquiring adequate housing.


Aneva Yazzie, CEO, Navajo Housing Authority. Ms. Yazzie spoke of the many Navajo veterans who are living in overcrowded homes or are homeless.
