Training and Technical Assistance
NAIHC offers a variety of training in subjects related to our mission. Since 1987, our Leadership Institute has offered training for tribes, tribal housing entity staff and others, seeking to develop courses that meet the needs of housing professionals. Each year hundreds of Indian housing professionals attend NAIHC training courses. Our course schedule is quite comprehensive and is made up of Leadership Institute courses and Tuition Free Training courses.
NAIHC offers both formal training classes and specialized training on a regional basis. Training is also provided at the annual convention. In addition, through the NAIHC Technical Assistance Program, a number of courses are offered free of charge. We are also able, under certain circumstances, to create custom training programs designed to meet your specifications and timelines. All training courses are taught by experienced instructors who have worked in the Indian housing field for many years.
